Airopay partners with Africa's young entrepreneurs on the AYEEN2017 program

Airopay an online payment solution is proud to announce its partnership with Africa's largest entrepreneurship network, A.Y.E on its annual empowerment program popularly known as AYEEN (Africa's Young Entrepreneurs Empowerment Program). 
The program that has empowered thousands of Nigerians across the nation also boast of been the world's largest reality TV show. The program which is to kick off this month with the screening process will engage thousands of nigerian entrepreneurs, starts up and business owners giving them a platform to pitch their ideas or businesses to A.Y.E business expert. The program which proceeds to the business auditions conducted by international business experts, will be televised on over 10 TV stations in Nigeria including Africa Magic.


Speaking about the partnership, the CEO of AIROPAY; Mr. Charles, said “as a brand, AIROPAY  believes in the objectives of the AYEEN initiative. The CEO also commended the executives of the Africa's Young Entrepreneurs for their bold interventions in grooming the next architects of Nigeria’s economic growth.

President of the non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the growth of entrepreneurs in the African continent(A.Y.E), Mr. Summy Smart Francis, said that the program will serve as a platform to impact millions of youth via television and online media across Africa. “It will give opportunity to existing and startup entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas and plans to a panel of foreign and local experts as well as give millions of entrepreneurs in Africa a platform to gain tremendous business knowledge and advice from these experts. Successful applicants will be given grants, mentorship, specialised skills scholarship and training”, Mr. Francis said.

Speaking at the occasion, the Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs Nigeria (AYEEN) National Head, Mr. Olubunmi Oluwadare bemoaned the insincerity of the Nigerian Government and the lack of support from most corporate bodies to entrepreneurs in Nigeria. He decried the politicization of the various empowerment programmes initiated by governments at all levels. Mr. Oluwadare urged the Government to use existing platforms, like AYEEN, to execute the various empowerment programmes so that it can effectively impact on the target beneficiaries who are the authentic entrepreneurs.

Speaking on the production partnership of the entrepreneurship reality television show, the General Manager of Wazobia TV, Emad Ahmad, promised to deliver top notch production and transmission quality to the large army of entrepreneurs, startups and positional business owners across Africa. He further promised prime time broadcast of the show on Wazobia Max.

The reality TV show will transmit in the 4th quarter of 2017 on terrestrial, satellite and continental television channels watched across various electronic media channels in Nigeria, Africa and beyond on partner media channels which include NTA, Wazobia Max, STV, TVC, All M-Net African Magic Channels, BRTV, Rave TV, etc. The show will also stream on the A.Y.E. online platform which boasts of over 61million viewers across the 36 State of the federation and across Africa.
